Discussion was held regarding the objective of the subcommittee. It was determined that our subcommittee would establish PC lists for several distinct template categories, which were tentatively established as:

Commercial
Residential (Multiple)
Single Family
Tenant Improvement
Plumbing
Mechanical
Electrical
Disabled Access
Energy Conservation

These template categories will be finalized at the next meeting. The subcommittee also decided that the standard correction templates will be available in both hard cot)v and electronic format. The majority of cities utilize conventional PC lists by circling the items which apply to a particular project; more sophisticated cities have (or will have) the ability to create customized correction lists which only include applicable correction items. The electronic version of the templates will ensure that such customized correction lists utilize the same correction language that is included on the hard copy lists used by other cities.

Several cities submitted copies of their correction lists, but it was determined that the subcommittee should also include PC lists from the following cities (that did not provide copies) in the analysis as well:

LA County
Santa Monica
Beverly Hills
Torrance

Stuart will contact those cities and get copies of their PC lists.

Stuart will provide copies of material to members who could not attend the meeting, and will provide a report to the main LARUC Phase II group on 9/2/99.
